SummerFest on Old South Pearl Street is back with
1st Annual BrewGrass — July 12 &
2nd Annual Blues & Brews — August 9

Great beers and great music come together for two fun-filled days, presented by the Old South Pearl Street Association and Swallow Hill Music Association.

NEW DEVELOPMENT! GREENSKY BLUEGRASS has been added to the lineup for BrewGrass. Greensky Bluegrass won First Place in the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition and they've been touring extensively since 2005 with their blend of original compositions and traditional bluegrass.

BrewGrass will feature a lineup of great national and local Bluegrass acts, including banjo prodigy Tony Furtado and one of Colorado’s favorite string-fusion bands, Boulder Acoustic Society. Blues & Brews will feature top national and local Blues musicians and bands, among them revered Delta bluesman Tommy Thomas and the Erica Brown Band, who recently represented Colorado at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

It’s all happening at the 1200 block of Old South Pearl Street—North of Louisiana and South of Buchtel—just a hop, skip and a jump west from the Louisiana-Pearl Light Rail Station. Take the ride in, enjoy some great brews from the likes of Breckenridge Brewery, New Belgium, Left Hand and many more as you hear some of the best music around for just a buck! [check full lineup]

BrewGrass and Blues & Brews are open to all ages. Feel free to bring chairs and blankets. These events will go on rain or shine. Bring your rain gear! No outside food or beverages, please. We will have two ATMs on-site and one located at 7-11 on the corner of Louisiana and Pearl.

GETTING THERE
Parking and Riding - There is limited local parking for the SummerFest Music Series on Old South Pearl Street. We are asking our music fans to park at any Light Rail Station and take Light Rail to SummerFest. Our events are held just a block west of the Louisiana-Pearl Station!
