| This class is for anyone who wants to play conga, djembe, or ashiko. Ed will |
| teach basic playing techniques, and some traditional rhythms from Africa |
| and Cuba. He will also cover tips on playing with other drummers, such as in |
| a drum circle, and how to play in a band with other non-drum instruments. |
| No experience required! Bring instruments if you have them, Swallow Hill will |
| provide them if you don't. Materials fee is waived for students who bring |
| their own instruments. This class is only for the larger drums - no |
| doumbeks, bongos or other drums smaller than a 10" diamater head. |
