Denver – Melodious singer/songwriter Dave Potts
grew up in the Rocky Mountain region, spending several years living out of
his dusty red pickup truck and honing his skills in the local coffee shop
circuits, before finding his home in Auburn, Ala., in 1996. Since then, he
has developed a style of reflecting the endearing life of small-town life in
the South that has won him many accolades from fans and critics alike. In
2005 he was the First Place winner in the Folk/Americana/Roots Category at
the International Acoustic Music Awards. His latest release, $12.99, has
received wide praise as well. "With lyrics so pure and human, so natural and
honest, $12.99 by Dave Potts will have you hanging onto every last
word, waiting for the completion of the thought, like a moving, poetry
puzzle that lives and breathes on its own...unhindered, inspired musicality
embodied within music that feels like it was always yearning to be written."
— CDBaby.com, editor's pick review of $12.99. A vivid
storyteller and talented guitarist, Potts is sure to deliver a stellar
performance.
