Denver - Swallow Hill Music Association is
proud to announce the appointment of long-time member and active donor Tom
Scharf to the position of Executive Director, effective September 1, 2007.
An entrepreneur for twenty years, community
leader and music impresario, Mr. Scharf was selected by the Board of
Directors to lead Swallow Hill. As a professional in marketing
communications, sales and management, Mr. Scharf is a Certified Business
Communicator who has demonstrated a wide base of proficiencies, successful
marketing and donor/sponsorship development.
The organization has enjoyed an unprecedented
growth spearheaded for the last seven years by retiring Executive Director
Jim Williams. Mr. Williams will remain at Swallow Hill as the Director of
the Concert Department. Jim Butler, President of the Board of Director,
comments, "The entire Swallow Hill Board is excited about working with Tom
and the rest of the Swallow Hill staff to build on [Jim Williams']
success."
