DENVER, COLO. (10/16/08) --  Shalom Feivel and Rocky Mountain Jewgrass return to Swallow Hill for a live concert and CD recording in Daniels Hall on Saturday, November 1 at 8 p.m.

In just two years this band has become a favorite at Swallow Hill and at other festivals and special events. Their last show at Swallow Hill was sold out, in fact. The band blends traditional bluegrass style playing with contemporary and classic Jewish themes and music to produce a high-energy show that is fun for audiences of all ages. Saul Rosenthal (guitar), Ben Cohen (banjo, harmonica and more), Sandy Reay (bass and dobro), Gail deVore (fiddle), and Manny Ladis (mandolin) bring a little "picklin' and grinnin'" and a "high lonesome kvetch" to their performances. There will also be Swallow Hill community members joining them on stage as guest artists.

Join the foot-stomping and hand-clapping fun and become part of this band's first CD. The first 50 folks through the door for this event will receive a free CD of the band's soon-to-be-hit song, "I'm In It for the Food." In addition, someone in the audience will win a mandolin signed by the band.

For tickets visit www.swallowhillmusic.org or call (303) 777-1003 x2. Discounts are available for Swallow Hill members. Buy in advance and save!
